Lured by the Light

May these images of light inspire us to be a source of love and light for others.

Artist Statement

Shards of light, slivers of sight. As light spills out of dark corners, or rather as dark forces obscure the light we once took for granted and now need more than ever, we seek that light out more intently, are attracted by it: any momentary repose in any form will do, it seems. Therein, does darkness serve as a driver of honest introspection, refinement of search and at last, a sloughing off of worn out forms.

During these darker days, I, too, have found solace in a deepening of the search within and reveled in finding a lovely fragment of light without -  in forest’s sunlit paths; in the raindrop’s glisten; in flowers, leaves and grass at play in the sun. May these images of light inspire us to be a source of love and light for others.
